Ask Carol is a chat-style mechanism for heritage education related information exchange. It is available for members to ask a question or contribute a comment about heritage education related topics. The questions are answered by Carol Ellick, THEN Co-founder, and other heritage education professionals. The content of Ask Carol can be scrolled through by individuals interested in the “conversation.” While visible by all, contributing to the chat is available only to current THEN members. What is heritage education?

Heritage Education is a pedagogical approach to teaching and learning that uses information available from tangible and intangible culture and from the natural, human, and built environments as primary instructional resources. It is a relational and experiential process that takes place in the interaction between the individual and the object or idea of heritage.
