1980     Archeology and Students–Can They Mix?. AnthroNotes, 2(3): 5-6, Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of Natural History Department of Anthropology
In this article the authors discuss their attempt to answer two questions: (1) Can archaeology do anything for kids when it is taught in high schools; (2) Can those students do anything for archaeology? The authors describe interviews and opinions from both students in a summer archaeology program in Fairfax County and professional archaeologists, which proved that the work done by these students is invaluable. Their conclusion is that both sides gain from this type of training and experience.
